On October 3rd, the Park hosted a Teddy Bears' Picnic where youngsters brought along their favourite toys to join in a day packed with activities.
Amy Potter, environmental project assistant said: "This was a great way to spend Saturday morning with the family. The park is so accessible and the teddy bears' picnic was a wonderful way to get children out in the fresh air and enjoying the countryside."
A host of other children's activities are planned to take place at Colne Valley Park. A number of free events have been planned to encourage children to get excited about the countryside and outdoor activities.
An arts and craft centre will be open every day, where children can make a mask, or they can take a map to help them follow trails around the park.
