The secret to this success was that in return for each students footprint the students received a summer fruits smoothie, goodie bag and membership to the future footprints project. The students loved the idea of making their own smoothie by cycling the bike. ‘This is bikelicious'', exclaimed one student.
The future footprint goodie bag contained an energy saving light bulb, power down curtacy of the London Borough of Hillingdon, grant information for students to claim insulation on behalf of their landlord and some delicious Cadbury's chocolate.

The Future Footprints steering group intend to follow up the results from Green Week by publicising a number of simple affordable actions which will help reduce each student's carbon footprint and support
