Groundwork Thames Valley has eighteen years experience in
delivering successful learning services. During that time we
have gained an impressive reputation for both quality and
innovation. Using the natural environment as our classroom,
our aim is to encourage people, no matter what their age or
ability, to explore and discover their local
environment.
Groundwork Learning Services offers a range of activities from our
three environment centres: Iver Environment Centre, the West London
Floating Classroom and Colne Valley Park Centre, all located near
Junction 1 of the M40. Each centre offers:

Learning Services also works in schools as part of our One-World
Schools programme, helping schools to achieve the
Government’s Sustainable Schools development goals.
Our Centres are the Iver Environment
Centre, the West London Floating
Classroom and the Colne Valley Park Centre.
Safety is the
utmost importance in all our activities. All our staff and
volunteers follow Groundwork’s comprehensive Health and
Safety procedures, have passed the enhanced CRB check and are
trained in Child Protection policy. We are proud that over
the last 18 years of delivering learning services we have had no
major accidents or incidents.
