Groundwork in Milton Keynes is supporting a number of partnership projects to improve community facilities, parks and play areas in local communities across Milton Keynes. Other completed projects include access improvements to the pond on the Conniburrow estate, funded by Grantscape.
| Groundwork successfully worked with Marks & Spencer on
their ‘Plan A’ campaign in upgrading Great Linford
Park. Play facilities were improved and new trees and shrubs
were planted to improve the natural habitat. The new park was
officially opened by the Mayor Elect in June 2009 with a community
fun day. |

Groundwork worked closely with Milton Keynes Council, the Conniburrow Community Association, local residents, schools and MK Artworks to restore the Conniburrow pond, relay the paths, cut back the undergrowth and create bespoke signage based on artwork from local children.
Current projects include supporting the development and capacity
building of community groups and the refurbishment of a community
garden project in Tinkers Bridge.
