Colne Valley Park Visitors Centre

The Visitors' Centre acts as a focal point for activities in the Colne Valley Regional Park and is located in Denham Country Park, by Jn 1 of the M40, near Uxbridge. Over 15,000 visitors each year visit in person and many more contact us by phone or letter.

Colne Valley Park Visitor Centre

Visitors to the Park can enjoy the walks and wildlife in the varied countryside.  A variety of organised events and activities are also available.

The Visitors Centre is suported by volunteers and extra volunteers to help visitors or serve in the tea shop are always made welcome. Our current volunteers either come in small groups or individually and work alongside staff. This can be for anything from one day per month to two days per week. The Centre's busiest times are at weekends and during the summer; however, volunteers are welcomed all year round!

To find out more about the Park, please follow this link to the Colne Valley Regional Park.

If you like working with the general public or are particularly interested in protecting the local countryside, please get in touch. We also have a varied programme of family events and exhibitions for people who are interested in helping with these.

As a final bonus, all Visitors Centre volunteers will gain free membership to the 'Friends of the Colne Valley Park', who organise regular outings, walks and activities.
